Meeting of the Programme Operator with the teams of the Youth Centres in Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, Dobrich and Vratsa
“External European Programmes” Directorate of the Ministry of Education and Science, which acts as Programme Operator of the “Local Development, Poverty Reduction and Enhanced Inclusion of Vulnerable Groups” Programme, co-funded by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area (EEA) 2014-2021, has organised a workshop with the teams of the youth centres in Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, Dobrich and Vratsa, established with the support of the EEA Financial Mechanism in the previous programming period.
At the meeting, which took place on 10-11 December, 2018 in the Youth Center - Plovdiv, the representatives of the youth centres have shared their main accomplishments in the past year and their plans for the next year, as well as their intentions for a long-term development. Their future projects have been backed up by the deputy-mayors of the respective municipalities, who also took part at the meeting: : Mr. Georgi Titukov - Deputy Mayor of Plovdiv, Mrs. Ivanka Sotirova - Deputy Mayor of Stara Zagora, Dr. Emilia Baeva - Deputy Mayor of Dobrich and Mr. Denislav Georgiev - representative of Vratsa Municipality.
Mrs. Tzvetana Guerdjikova - Head of the Programme Operator, presented the main requirements for the above youth Centres in order to apply with project proposals for financing the extension of their activity during the new programming period of the EEA Financial Mechanism - 2014-2021.
Then, the Programme Operator’s team gave detailed answers to all questions related to the forthcoming Call for project proposals.
