On November 22 and 24, 2022, the municipality of Maglizh and Nikolaevo presented at its opening events project Roma Inclusion Hub "Complex integration services for Roma inclusion in the Municipalities Maglizh and Nikolaevo" The project was initiated to meet important problems of marginalized minorities in the municipalities of Maglizh and Nikolaevo. It is planned to create 2 hubs which will offer complex of integrated health and social measures to support Roma inclusion in the municipalities of Maglizh and Nikolaevo. In the hubs specially equipped for this purpose, meetings, seminars, round tables, thematic workshops and other mass or individual forms of work with the target groups will be held. For this purpose, the organizational capacity of the municipality will be increased by providing certification training for Roma educational and health mediators. Activities related to access to health, education and social services, employment, empowerment and non-discrimination will be implemented in the two hubs. For this purpose, the municipality of Maglizh expects to build a new health center, which will have offices for medical examinations and an emergency room. In it, health mediation will be carried out along the lines of prevention in all aspects. In the building of the "Probuda - 1869" - Maglizh Primary School, evaluated rooms will be equipped, where social workers, health, Roma and educational mediators will work with the target group. In the municipality of Nikolaevo, two existing municipal buildings will be repaired and adapted for the construction of the health and social center. The two newly built hubs will become central centers for health, social, educational and cultural activities, performances and will offer psychological, health and educational support for vulnerable groups in the two municipalities.
