The Programme Operator of the programme "Local Development, Poverty Reduction and Enhanced Inclusion of Vulnerable Groups" held a two-day training of the management teams for the projects aimed at establishing new youth centers in Burgas, Gabrovo, Montana and Pernik.
The seminar was directed to the project managers, coordinators, financial officers, accountants, public procurement experts, information and publicity experts, representatives of the municipal authorities who will participate in the project management team. The experts of the Programme Operator explained in detail the main requirements related to the implementation of the projects, paying special attention to the deadlines for implementation, risk management, opportunities for updating the project and budget, financial management, reporting the indicators and the overall project implementation, requirements and procedures for selection of contractors, as well as requirements for communication and publicity. The Programme Operator presentations highlighted also the criteria for the Council of Europe Quality Label, as well as the possibilities for including the new centers in the activity of the National Network of Youth Centers, established by the centers operating in Stara Zagora, Plovdiv, Dobrich and Vratsa.
The participants were very interested in the practical work-shop, organized by the Programme operator, where the four management teams presented their respective projects and development strategies, after which specific cases related to their implementation and reporting were discussed.
