The implementation of the "Bulgarian Cross-Border Dialogue" project - version 2 between the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works and the Norwegian Barents Secretariat, funded by the Bilateral Fund of the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area (EEA) and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism (NFM) 2014-2021 is the continuation of the cooperation of the two institutions from the previous programme period.
Leading Norwegian institutions will be involved in conducting training on the use of modern technologies and software for collecting and visualizing information, and developing and implementing appropriate useful tools on the websites of cross-border cooperation programmes at the external borders of the European Union, in which Bulgaria participates together with Turkey, Serbia and the Republic of North Macedonia for the programme period 2021-2027. The provision of the new functionalities will create an opportunity for data exchange between the programme management systems, and modules for reflecting the implementation of the set programme objectives will allow a comprehensive and multi-layered presentation of the programmes, their impact on the covered cross-border regions and their interaction with the macro-regional strategies of the European Union for the Danube Region and the Baltic Sea Region.
24 months are planned for the implementation of all project activities, and the funds provided by the Fund for Bilateral Relations of the FM of the EEA and NFM amounted at EUR 363 000.
