General Labor Inspectorate (GIT) Executive Agency is implementing "Cooperation for Decent Working Conditions" initiative in partnership with the Labor Inspectorate of the Kingdom of Norway in close collaboration with the labour inspectorates in Romania, Lithuania and Estonia, FAFO international studies institute and the communications agency Geelmuyden Kiese.

The ongoing communication campaign "Know your rights" as part of the initiative received another international award - gold in the Sabre Awards competition in the category "Multi-Country Program". The Sabre Awards is one of the world's largest communication competitions and receives thousands of entries from around the world in many categories.

"It is great with another recognition from the industry", says Pål H. Lund who coordinates our international cooperation in undeclared work. "This is also an important recognition of our good planning work, both across our organization and between the cooperating countries, as well as the great efforts we have made to facilitate the content in several languages." - Added Pål H. Lund.

The campaign, which was launched in September 2020, has a main film aimed at workers from the four countries that are at work in Norway. Posters, brochures, and postcards were also produced. The campaign film has so far been seen by more than 400,000 people in the four countries. The campaign also won two gold medals in the Content Marketing Awards (CMA) in 2020.

According to the plan, the next phase of the campaign will start on 21 September. In this phase, we will also focus on more. Polish and Latvian workers will now also be included as target groups. It`s planed conduction both qualitative interview rounds with people in the target groups and a larger survey.
