The Fund Operator of the Active Citizens Fund Bulgaria program starts a call for project proposals of civil society organizations (CSOs). The current emergency session of the Small Initiatives Scheme is announced in response to the changed environment and the challenges posed by the war in Ukraine. The call will support projects of Bulgarian civil society organizations, contributing to overcoming the negative effects of the war for the most vulnerable groups, including refugees and migrants (regardless of their ethnic origin), to counteracting misinformation and overcoming information inequality, as well as capacity building and partnerships and the formulation of sustainable policies in a changing European context. Projects can be implemented in partnership.

The call will support projects of CSOs (non-for-profit legal entities) with duration of 2 to 12 months and a grant amount of 2,000 to 25,000 euros.

The deadline for submission of project proposals is 18 April 2022, 5.00 pm (EET).

Detailed guidelines for applicants and all relevant documents in relation with the second call can be found in the official website of the Active Citizens Fund Bulgaria:
