Discussion with Judge Yonko Grozev from the European Court of Human Rights on „Current trends in the practice of the European Court of Human Rights on civil matters“

On 8 April 2022 (Friday) from 10.00 to 13.00, the National Institute of Justice will organize a discussion with Judge Yonko Grozev from the European Court of Human Rights on „Current trends in the practice of the European Court of Human Rights on civil matters“.

Judge Grozev will review the application of the civil aspects of the Convention, with emphasis on the confiscation under the civil procedure in the context of the ECHR.

The venue is organized under the project „Modern learning environment for judges, prosecutors, investigating magistrates and other legal professionals“, implemented with the assistance of Justice Program of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021.

The discussion will be held in face-to-face format in hall 201 of the National Institute of Justice and online, via videoconferencing.

Applications for participation are due until 05.04.2022 via the ISUPO system, at the following address: isupo.nij.bg. The attendants who confirmed their participation via videoconferencing will receive a link at the designated email address of their registration. The participation in face-to-face format is pending confirmation by the NIJ.

            The expenses (travel expenses, per diem and hotel accommodation) of confirmed face-to-face participants will be borne by the budget of the project.
