The offices are located in the schools of the respective settlements. For 3 months, every 4 hours a day, a psychologist will provide free psychological counseling to children and their parents on issues related to domestic violence and gender violence.
Experts will also provide support and advice to people who have sought help in relation to the realization of the labor market as a way of empowerment and independence.
The service is provided with the financial support of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021, Justice Program, Small Grant Scheme under the project “RE-ACTION through information against domestic and gender violence”.
The offices are intended both for children and their parents – mostly women.
The “SOS consulting office” in Rosa village is located in the “St. Paisiy Hilendarski” PS, office No. 6, on the first floor, with working hours from 13:00 to 17:00, with psychologist Petya Alexandrova.
The “SOS consulting office” in Kukorevo village is located in “Hristo Botev” primary school, on the first floor, with working hours from 13:30 to 17:30, with psychologist Radka Vasileva.
The two offices started work on 24.04.2023 and will operate till 24.06.2023. After a short summer break, they will work again from 18.09.2023 to 18.10.2023.
Two more offices for psychological support are envisaged to work within the framework of the project, in the villages of Botevo and Krumovo, for a period of 3 months. These offices will start working from the beginning of the next school year, for the period October 2023-April 2024. The grant granted by the Kingdom of Norway for the project amounts to BGN 186 305,32
