Online event for presenting increasing the capacity of General Directorate “Combating Organized Crime” for more effective investigation of organized and transnational crime project

An online conference for introducing the project “Increasing the capacity of General Directorate “Combating Organized Crime” for more effective investigation of organized and transnational crime”, funded by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism under the Home Affairs Programme, was held on April 7, 2021.The event was organized by the Project Promoter General directorate Combating organized crime - MoI. The conference was attended by the project partners National Criminal Investigation Service (NCIS) (Kripos) and Oslo Police District of Kingdom of Norway, Europol, experts from the Program Operator, as well as from National Focal Point.

The project is aimed at strengthening the national capabilities for combating organized crime and will enhance the cooperation with the Norwegian national Criminal Service (KRIPOS) and international organizations such as Europol, Interpol and foreign partner law enforcement agencies.

The total value of the project is BGN 7,823,200 or EUR 4,000,000 and the implementation period is 48 months until February 2024.
