The Programme operator of the Home Affairs Programme, funded by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021, announces a procedure for the pre-defined project “Improvement of the efficiency of the police activity in the field of domestic and gender-based violence“.
Eligible project promoter under the procedure is the General Directorate National Police at the Ministry of Interior.
The funding allocated to this procedure is up to BGN 1 212 596.
The pre-defined project aims at improvement of the capacity of the Bulgarian Police to respond to cases of domestic and gender based violence (DGBV). The project will also contribute to the development of efficient policies in the area of combating this human right violation. The project will improve the situation of Roma population and it will be implemented in areas with high Roma population and it will focus on prevention, risk assessment, support to victims and collection of data on DGBV in Roma communities.
The deadline for application is July 8, 2019 until 5.30 PM.
