Procedure for the pre-defined project “ Increasing the capacity of General Directorate “Combating Organized Crime”

The Programme operator of the Home Affairs Programme, funded by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021, announces a procedure for the pre-defined project “ Increasing the capacity of General Directorate “Combating Organized Crime” for more effective investigation of organized and transnational crime”.

The financing allocated to this procedure is up to BGN 7 823 200.

Eligible project promoter under the procedure is the General Directorate  “Combating Organized Crime” of the Ministry of Interior    (GDCOC - MoI).

The project will enhance the national capabilities for combating transnational and organized crime and will enhance the cooperation with the Norwegian National Criminal Investigation Service (KRIPOS) and international organisations such as Interpol, Europol and foreign partner law enforcement agencies. The project will strengthen the justice chain and the knowledge and capacity of officials in the General Directorate “Combating Organized Crime” (GDCOC), magistrates and other practitioners in the field of countering organized crime. In addition, the facilities for storing and proper preservation of evidences will be improved. Experts from international organisations like Europol, Eurojust and Interpol will also be invited to take part in the workshops to share their experience and knowledge with participants in workshops and trainings.

 

The deadline for application is September 30, 2019 until 5.30 PM.

Deadline for submission of project proposals is extended until 17.30h on 14.10.2019

Beginning of the assessment process: 15.10.2019

End of the assessment process: 16.12.2019

Signing of the contracts: 10.01.2020
