The project “Enhancing efficiency of industrial production processes through improved energy efficiency”, financed under the Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency and Energy Security Programme (the so-called Norwegian programme), was successfully completed in Balkan Bio BG EOOD in the town of Teteven. The replacement of technological equipment, the reconstruction of a pasteurisation plant, the automation of heating in the exit temperature adjustment section and other activities within the project resulted in a cost-saving heat and electricity, according to the Beneficiaries. The implementation of the project has increased the efficiency of industrial production processes and improved the competitiveness of the company.
The project “Enhancing efficiency of industrial production processes through improved energy efficiency” amounts in total of BGN 325, 537. The project was financed under the “Energy Efficiency in Industry” Procedure of the “Renewable Energy, Energy efficiency and Energy Security” Programme through the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism.
