First Call for Project Proposals under Outcome 3 “Awareness of Arts and Culture of Ethnic and Cultural Minorities Improved (Roma focus)"

Today, 27th August 2021, the Programme Operator of the Cultural Entrepreneurship, Heritage and Cooperation Programme announced a first call or project proposals under Outcome 3 "Awareness of arts and culture of ethnic and cultural minorities improved (Roma focus)".

Project proposals can be submitted from 27th August 2021 until 5:30 p.m. on 29th November 2021.

Outcome 3 is aimed at the following objectives:

-           to promote cultural initiatives of ethnic and cultural minorities (with a focus on Roma) and to attract new audiences, including in remote areas and/or areas with poor access;

-           to involve the majority and minority groups (with a focus on Roma) in cultural projects and to improve their access to culture and the arts;

-           to improve the situation of the Roma population in Bulgaria, using culture and art as means of developing skills/capacity and/or as a path to education.

 

Any non-commercial entities, public or private, as well as non-governmental organizations, established as a legal person in Bulgaria, whose principal activity is in the cultural and creative sectors as defined in Regulation (EU) No 1295/2013 on the Creative Europe Programme, including municipalities.

 

Projects worth a total of € 1,300,000 will be supported, with a maximum and minimum of € 75,000 and € 25,000 per project respectively.
