Today, 16th March 2021, the Programme Operator of the Cultural Entrepreneurship, Heritage and Cooperation Programme announced a call for project proposals under the First Call for Outcome 1 "Cultural heritage management enhanced", Output 1.2 "Cultural heritage objects made digitally accessible".

Project proposals can be submitted from 16th March 2021 until 5:30 p.m. on 16th June 2021.

The goal of the procedure is to improve the conditions of access to cultural heritage by supporting projects that will document and digitize it for the first time in order to promote and preserve it for future generations.

The call will focus on projects through which cultural operators can build capacity and acquire the necessary material and technical base for the creation of digital laboratories in order to conduct comprehensive programs for digitization of movable cultural heritage. The procedure will also support projects aimed at upgrading the capacity and expanding the activities of existing digital laboratories established under the BG08 "Cultural Heritage and Contemporary Arts" Programme funded by the EEA FM 2009-2014.

Eligible applicants are budgetary organizations whose principal activity is in the cultural or creative sectors, including municipalities and regional administrations. Eligible partners under this Call are all non-commercial public or private organizations, as well as non-profit organizations established as legal entities in Bulgaria or in the donor states under the Programme (Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway).

Projects worth a total of € 1,000,000 will be supported, with a maximum and minimum of € 350,000 and € 150,000 per project respectively.
