Ministry of Foreign affairs of Bulgaria starts creating mobile application in help of Bulgarians abroad.
The application will provide in real time information about the risks of traveling abroad and also will provide prompt contact with the Crisis management center at the Ministry of Foreign affairs of Bulgaria. Functionality for submitting a signal for help or evacuation of Bulgarian citizens affected by disasters abroad is also provided.
The initiative is implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway under the project “Completion and equipment of the crisis management center at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria” using the long-term Norwegian experience in the field.
During the 21 months of the project implementation joint activities with the Norwegian side are planned - seminars for exchange of experience in managing and dealing with various crises, improving knowledge of response in cases of crises, emergency situations, evacuations, etc.
The project “Completion and equipment of the crisis management center at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria” is financed by the Fund for bilateral relations under the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014 – 2021.
