In relation to the recently open Call for proposals “Establishing youth centres”, the Ministry of Education and Science - in its capacity as Programme Oparator „Local Development, Poverty Reduction and Enhanced Inclusion of Vulnerable Groups” programme - has held on October 8th, 2019 in Sofia an info day for the potential applicants.
The event aroused great interest not only among the municipalities that are identified as eligible beneficiaries of this call, but also among representatives of non-governmental organizations with proven experience in youth work. Representatives of the National Focal Point at the Council of
Ministers, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works and other state institutions also took part in the event.

In her opening presentation, she emphasized the need of establishing youth centres of a new type, which not only meet the high European standards for youth work, but are also an important factor for local development.
Subsequent presentations made by leading experts from the Programme Operator's team explained in detail the requirements for the main elements of the potential applicants’ project proposals: general and specific goals, expected results and indicators, eligible activities and costs, budgeting, preparation of the public procurements’ plan etc.
